What: Education advocates celebrate a huge victory as the City of Syracuse delivers $250,000 to extend half day pre-k classes to full day for nearly 100 children across the Syracuse City School District. Quality Pre-k and increased funding is a fundamental priority for the local AQE/CANY chapter. Earlier this year, during state budget negotiations the state cut Pre-K funding by $75 million dollars. City councilors will be presenting the $250,000 to SCSD children.
