Detectives Attempting to Identify Forgery Suspect

Town of Geddes, New York- Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin E. Walsh reports that detectives are attempting to identify a man suspected of attempting to cash stolen check.
On May 5, 2009, a personal check book was reported stolen from a car parked in the parking lot of Crucible Steel, located on State Fair Boulevard. On May 6th an unidentified hispanic male attempted to cash a forged check from the same check book at a local Bank of America, and left the bank before authorites were called by bank officials.
