(Watertown, NY - June 19, 2009) - State Police in Watertown conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative targeting retail Alcohol sales to minors. Twenty three locations in Jefferson County were checked during the detail. Two people were arrested for Unlawfully Dealing with a Child 1st, and Prohibited Sale of Alcohol to a Minor.
- The following people were arrested after selling Alcohol to an underage operative during the initiative :
Mohan Singh Chhokar – 11/11/40, 1227 Falchney Dr, Apt #6, Watertown NY, Working at the Mobil Food Mart, 262 Arsenal St., Watertown NY. Chhokar was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Watertown Court on 06/29/09.
The following establishments were checked and did not sell alcohol to the underage operative :
Tamara C. Fitzpatrick – 11/08/89, 24738 Madison St., Chaumont NY, working at the Nice and Easy, 12345 SR 12, Chaumont NY. Fitzpatrick was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Lyme Court on 06/29/09.
