(Manlius) (07/30/2009)(readMedia)– The following local resident is among about 100 incoming transfer students at SUNY Oswego who have received $1,000 Merit Awards.
Earning a scholarship is Kathleen Steil of Willowbrook Lane in Manlius, who last attended Onondaga Community College.
She has reserved a place for the fall semester at Oswego as transfer students. Classes will begin Aug. 31.
The awards recognize students’ past academic achievements and potential for success. The transfer students receiving Oswego’s merit awards this year have a collective college grade average of 3.6 on the 4.0 scale.
