The Morrisville State College athletic department recently named football’s sophomore quarterback, Jamieson Crast (Mannsville, NY/South Jefferson), the Mustang Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 6, 2009.
Crast was 17-28 in passing for 198-yards and three touchdowns, adding 88 yards on the ground, including a 39-yard carry for a score, in the loss to Hartwick on Saturday. He accounted for 286 of the team’s 390-yards total offense on the night.
A transfer from Hobart College, he earned Dean’s List honors at Morrisville State in the spring semester.
Crast is majoring in natural resources conservation at Morrisville State.
He is the son of Julie and Patrick Crast of Mannsville, N.Y.
