On 09/16/09, at approximately 8:00 PM, a 48 year old Baldwinsville man was operating his 2007 Triumph Motorcycle south-westerly on Herman Road in the T/Van Buren.
The operator failed to negotiate a curve and the motorcycle exited the roadway off south shoulder and entered a ditch. The operator was ejected from the motorcycle. He sustained a head and leg injury. He was treated at the scene by EMS personnel from the Warners Fire Department, and was airlifted by Mercy Flight Helicopter to Upstate Hospital.
The investigation is on-going.
