On 10/01/09, the New York State Police in Watertown, NY arrested William S. Spellan, 54 years old, 30124 ST-3, Lot # 11, Black River, NY for Insurance Fraud 3rd degree (D Felony), Falsify Business Records 1st degree (E Felony), and Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st degree (E Felony).
Mr. Spellan is accused of taking approximately $3,539 from the New York State Unemployment Insurance between January of 2008 and May of 2009 while being employed during that time frame.
Mr. Spellan was arraigned in the Town of Leray Court and released, pending Grand Jury action.
