(Watertown, NY - October 05, 2009) –
The State Police in Watertown are investigating a burglary of weapons from a residence located at 7948 State Route 12E in the Town of Lyme, Jefferson County.
Taken in the burglary was a Mossberg 12 gauge Model 500 pump action shotgun with an unknown make and model scope. A CVA .50 caliber muzzleloader with black synthetic stock, and a Simmons 3X9X40 scope. A Winchester lever action 30.30 caliber rifle with peep sight, and a Fred Bear compound bow cammo in color. Also taken was approximately $230 in US currency. The burglary occurred between 5-00 PM 10-01-09 and 9-45 AM 10-02-09.
