(Town of Cicero, NY) Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin E. Walsh reports that the victim of the fatal motorcycle accident has been identified.
Ralph Mirarcki (41), of 6243 Henryk Woods Road, has been identified as the cyclist killed in last night’s fatal motorcycle crash. Mirarcki was driving his 2002 Suzuki motorcycle at a high rate of speed on South Bay Road when he struck the left rear corner of a pickup truck.
After striking the pickup, Mirarcki lost control of his motorcycle, crossed the south bound lane of traffic, and entered a ditch. Mirarcki continued traveling north in the ditch for approximately 100 yards before striking a telephone pole and was ejected from his motorcycle. Mirarck was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
