(Onondaga County, NY) Rotary International District 7150 is looking for professionals, ages 25-40, to spend four weeks, April/May, 2010, in Japan on a Group Study Exchange (GSE). This is an all expense-paid trip sponsored by Rotary International. Applicants cannot be a Rotarian or direct relative of a Rotarian (spouse, parent or child).
District GSE Outbound Chairman Henry MacDonald says candidates must be:
Currently employed in the early stages of any recognized business or profession on a full-time basis, and be committed to remaining in the work force after the exchange;
Able to take off one month from work and have adequate time to prepare with the chosen team members and team leader to learn about the culture and language of the country being visited;
Flexible and adaptable, team players, personable, articulate, cooperative, exemplary in their work, and enthusiastic about their vocations;
Reside in or be employed in the sending Rotary district, and be citizens of the country in which they reside;
Seek to gain a maximum educational value from the program, as well as, be able to fulfill the rigorous demands of international travel and active participation in an extensive itinerary.
