Assemblyman Al Stirpe working to expand the Chenango-Madison Bounty program into Onondaga County

   My name is Ellie Walker and I am a returning student at Syracuse University after 31 years. I took a great of interest in this Bounty program as I am doing research on the food industry. Actually “how to hold the slaughterhouse and the meat processing industry accountable for all the sickness and deaths related to E. coli contaminated meat in the U.S.. Will the small farmers include meat in this Bounty program? This would be a much safer alternative to buying our meat. I have found few who are willing to stand up to this large industry including our own government! Very dishearting! One Senatator Jack Reed, D-Rhode Island is doing just that with a bill going to the U.S. Senate in November. But it can’t be done by only one? Assemblyman Al Stirpe keep up the good work this may be the answer to safety in the food industry? Ellie Walker
