Maeweather earns NJAC Football All-Conference Honors

(Morrisville, NY) Senior EJ Maeweather was named Morrisville State College football student-athlete, earning New Jersey Athletic Conference post-season honors.

Maeweather, (Syracuse, NY/Cass Tech) earned second team defense honors at linebacker. He finished the season with 69 total tackles, 35 solo, including 12 for a loss of 31-yards, while forcing three fumbles.

Maeweather finished the season tied for 14th in the conference in total tackles, was ranked eighth in tackles for a loss, and tied for third in forced fumbles.

In his two-year career with the Mustangs, he made 130 total stops, including 17.5 for a loss of 42-yards, defended four passes, forced five fumbles, recovered one, and had 1.5 sacks for a loss of seven yards.

Morrisville State finished the season with a 1-9 overall record, 1-8 in New Jersey Athletic Conference action.
