Utica, NY (January 28, 2010) The United Way of the Valley & Greater Utica Area has been chosen to receive $158,082 in federal funds under the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program, also known as FEMA. Exactly $121,083 is designated for Oneida County, and exactly $36,999 is designated for Herkimer County.
The selection was made by a National Board that is chaired by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security

(Verona, NY) A prominent Syracuse restaurateur with nearly 40 years in the business has been named to lead Club two.one, a ritzy, private club with a panoramic view at the top of the 19-story Tower Hotel at Turning Stone Resort and Casino.
John Julian of Syracuse, who most recently oversaw the four fine dining restaurants at Turning Stone, has taken over the reins as operations manager for the high end Club two.one.
Prior to joining Turning Stone, Julian was a consultant for the Hilton Hotels Corporation in the New England region.
