(Whitesboro, NY) The Mid-York Child Care Coordinating Council announced its 2010 Friends of Children award winners at an awards dinner on June 16 at Harts Hill Inn, Whitesboro.
The Friend of Children awards recognize individual child care professionals in all modalities of New York State regulated child care who display outstanding service and dedication to the children in their care. An additional category recognizes community members, community agencies and youth who demonstrate their support of children through action, word or deed.
Seventy-five nominations were received for 48 individuals and agencies in categories that recognize the contribution of child care professionals and community members who demonstrate exemplary care and support to the children of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida counties through direct or indirect service.
