Local Students Named to Dean’s List at Loyola University Maryland

BALTIMORE, MD (07/02/2010)(readMedia)– Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2010 Dean’s List. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List at Loyola, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits. The following local students have achieved this honor:

Area Student’s Named to Marist Dean’s List

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (07/06/2010)(readMedia)– The following students were named to the Marist College Dean’s List for the spring 2010 semester.

Allyson J. O’Brien of Manlius, NY is a member of the Class of 2012 and is majoring in Communications/Public Relations.

Elizabeth C. O’Brien of Manlius, NY is a member of the Class of 2012 and is majoring in Psychology Special Education.

Local resident receives Oswego scholarship

OSWEGO, NY (07/13/2010)(readMedia)– SUNY Oswego has awarded merit scholarships to more than 650 incoming students, including $2,000 Merit Awards to several local residents.

Included was:

Kelly L. Nassar of Glen Eagle Drive in Manlius.

All of the scholarship recipients have reserved a place in Oswego’s incoming freshman class for the fall semester. Classes will begin Aug. 30.

The awards recognize students’ past academic achievements and potential for success. Outstanding first-year students entering Oswego are offered $17,600 Presidential Scholarships ($4,400 a year for up to four years), $5,000 Deans’ Awards ($1,250 a year for up to four years) or $2,000 Merit Awards ($500 a year for up to four years).
