Fall Wellness Programs Offered at Beaver Lake Nature Center

(Baldwinsville, NY) Beaver Lake Nature Center in Baldwinsville offers two wellness programs designed for individual relaxation and renewal in a quiet, natural setting.

Walking & Yoga – Tuesdays, September 21 – November 2 (except October 26); 9-10:15am
This class will allow participants to renew and revive their body, mind and spirit. Each session will begin with 35 minutes of walking followed by 35 minutes of complementary yoga poses. Benefits include increased cardio fitness and strength, improved flexibility and balance, stress reduction and weight management. $50; pre-registration is required.

T’ai Chi Chih – Tuesdays, September 21 – November 9; 6:30-8pm
T’ai Chi Chih (TCC) is a set of movements completely focused on the development of an intrinsic energy called Chi. TCC consists of 19 stand-alone movements and one pose. As TCC does not require any particular level of physical fitness or coordination, it can be taught to anyone of any age. $35; pre-registration is required.
