Woman Arrested for Grand Larceny

(Watertown, NY – Sept. 1, 2011) The State Police in Watertown arrested 33-year-old Elsa L. Bush of 7564 Church St., Lowville for one count of third-degree Grand Larceny.

The investigation alleges that on July 26 Bush stole $10,000 while working as a teller at the Community Bank NA located on Route 3 in Black River.

She was arraigned in the Town of Pamelia Court and released.

The case was forwarded for possible Grand Jury action.

Black River Youth Arrested for Burglary

(Carthage, NY – Feb. 2011) The State Police in Carthage arrested Jacob Nickles, 17 year-old, 29619 State Route 3, Black River, Town of Rutland, on one count of third-degree Burglary, a Class D Felony and one count of Making a false written statement a Class A Misdemeanor.

On Aug. 23, 2010, Nickles did break into Nu-Bren Way Store and stole tobacco products valued at $2,900.

Nickles was arraigned in the Town of Wilna Court, before town Justice Honorable Richard Buckingham and released on bail pending Grand Jury.
