<p>(Cape Vincent, NY – Sept. 19, 2011) State Police in Alexandria Bay arrested Adam J. Faveret, 25, of 2140 Route 12E, Cape Vincent following an investigation of a man with a weapon outside a residence on 12E in Cape Vincent.</p>
<p>When Troopers arrived they found Faveret being restrained by a Clyde H. Garnsey who had intervened during a domestic dispute involving Faveret&#8217;s sister over Faveret drinking too much.</p>
<p>Investigation provided that Faveret was in the possession of a 22 caliber long rifle, two homemade knives and a small quantity of marihuana during the argument.</p>
<p>Faveret had driven to the residence resulting in the charge of Aggravated DWI with a BAC of .30.</p>
<p>He was arraigned before town of Clayton Justic Giles and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building with bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.</p>

<p>(Alexandria Bay, NY - July 26, 2011) State Police in Alexandria Bay and the State Department of Corrections Inspectors Generals Office have arrested two suspects in a Grand Larceny case for the Cape Vincent Correctional Facility located on ST-12E Cape Vincent.</p>
<p>Craig L. Johnson, 48, of 118 State St., Schenectady and Diona L. Smith, 36, of 1461 State St. Schenectady were both charged with one count each of second-degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, third-degree Grand Larceny and fifth-degree Conspiracy.</p>
<p>The charges allege that they used the account and routing numbers from an existing Cape Vincent Correctional Facility account to make and use forged checks in the Albany area. The forged checks were cashed at several locations and the total amount of money taken to date is approximately $5,000.</p>
<p>Both suspects are being held at the Jefferson County Public Safety Building.</p>
<p>Additional arrests are pending.</p>

<p>(Watertown, NY - June 07, 2011) The State Police in Watertown arrested Shawn D. Henry, 52, of Route 12E, Cape Vincent on two counts of third-degree Grand Larceny, one count each of first-degree Identity Theft and first-degree Scheme to Defraud, all Class D Felonies and one count of Petit Larceny.</p>
<p>Police said Henry did use his deceased father Albert N. Henry&#8217;s credit to purchase over $13,000 in merchandise from June 2008 thru January 2010. Purchases were made while the defendant lived in the City of Watertown.</p>
<p>Albert Henry died July 11, 2008. Complainants include Bank of America ($6262.76), Citi Bank ($6952.36) and Community Bank ($539.46).</p>
<p>Henry is to reappear in the City of Watertown Court on June 21 at 11 a.m.</p>

<p>(Alexandria Bay, NY - March 2, 2011)  New York State Police BCI units at Alexandria Bay and Watertown arrested the following subjects for Attempted Robbery 1st degree (class &#8220;C&#8221; felonies).</p>
<p>Shane M. Jackson (age 30) from 141 East Broadway, Cape Vincent NY</p>
<p>Jason A. Sorbello (age 36) from 3162 Huff Road, Cape Vincent NY</p>
<p>Both subjects are charged with the attempted robbery reported at the Cape Dairy on February 27, 2011.  It was reported at 8:30pm on Sunday evening that one man entered the store on Broadway in Cape Vincent with what appeared to be a pistol and struck the clerk before leaving the store without any proceeds or merchandise. The second man drove the vehicle and his accomplice from the scene.</p>

<p>Both men were arraigned at the Town of Watertown Court where Jackson was remanded to the Jefferson County PSB with no bail. Bail was set for Sorbello at $25,000.</p>

<p>Troopers were assisted in this case by members of the Metro Jefferson Drug Task Force and NYS Division of Parole.</p>

<p>(Watertown, NY – Feb. 28, 2010) On Feb. 27 at approximately 8:40PM, Jefferson County 911 dispatched a reported robbery that had just occurred at the Cape Dairy Motel and convenience Store, 112 East Broadway St. in the village of Cape Vincent.</p>
<p>At that location, a lone white male perpetrator entered the store wearing black attire, and a black ski mask. He displayed a firearm, and approached the lone attendant, who was behind the register. The perpetrator demanded money from the register. A brief struggle ensued, and the perpetrator left the store. Nothing was taken during the robbery. The attendant received minor abrasions as a result of this crime.</p>
<p>The male perpetrator was further described as approximately 5&#8217;8&#8243; tall, with a heavy build.</p>
<p>A vehicle of interest was observed leaving the area, south on Route 12E, immediately after the robbery. The vehicle was further described as a small silver colored two door passenger vehicle.</p>
<p>The State Police were assisted in the response to this by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, Fort Drum Police, New York State Park Police, and Cape Vincent EMS.</p>
<p>Anyone possessing any information relevant to this crime are requested to contact the State Police at (315) 782-2112. All calls will remain confidential.</p>
<p>The investigation is continuing.</p>

<p>(Cape Vincent, NY – Feb. 11, 2011) The New York State Police in Alexandria Bay investigated a two snowmobile personnel injury accident that occurred in the Town of Cape Vincent on Feb. 11 at approximately 9:39 PM.</p>
<p>The investigation revealed that Steven T. Green, 42, of 36249 Route 12E, Cape Vincent, NY was operating his snowmobile in a northeasterly direction on a trail along the Mason Road.  Green failed to stay on the right side of the trail and struck a snowmobile being operated by Daniel Austill, 46, of Gosier Road, Cape Vincent, head on.</p>
<p>Both operators were ejected from their snowmobiles. Green was not injured. Austill was transported by Cape Vincent Ambulance to River Hospital with a wrist injury.</p>
<p>The investigation revealed that Green was intoxicated. He was found to have a BAC of 0.16 percent. He was arrested for Snowmobiling While Intoxicated and Failing to Keep Right.  He was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Cape Vincent Court on Feb. 22 and released.</p>
